If you are "really, really" serious about being the next President of the United States and you "really, really" believe that you are far more qualified than either Obama or McCain to be the next President, well, here is how you can make your dream come true.

 

PLAY BY THE RULES:  Stay in the Primary all the way to the Convention.  Play by the rules!  This is paramount!  Don't cry and bellyache about Florida or Michigan.  State your case and then allow the DNC to make whatever decision they want concerning the delegates from Florida and Michigan.  Chances are, they will seriously "hack off" the citizens of those two States (given the ineptness of Dean as DNC Chairman) and those voters will be wide open to supporting you (discussed below).

 

The general thought and the basic math is/shows that Obama has too big of a lead and will eventually receive the Democrat nomination and the Super Delegats will not overturn this lead in delegates and popular vote.  THAT'S FINE!  PLAY BY THE RULES!  LET THE CONVENTION PLAY OUT AND DO NOT CREATE ANY FRACTURE WITHING THE CONVENTION!

 

NOW:  Once the Convention is over, take TWO DAYS and disapear, I mean "GET LOST", no media, no cameras, no comments on ANY news programs, no interviews WHATSOEVER!  Then, go back to New York and call a news confrence and DECLARE YOURSELF AN "INDEPENDENT" and that after serious soul searching and prayer and consultation with your family, you are compelled to take this action becaus the pending election may well be the MOST IMPORTANT Presidental Election in our Nation's history.  State that you are convinced that YOU are the ONLY canidate who is experienced enough and has the best vision to resolve the various issues that face our Nation and you simply CAN NOT remain on the sidelines when the problems facing our Nation are so serious and the other two canidates SIMPLY CAN NOT UNITE the Nation or Washington to address these issues.

 

VERY IMPORTANT:  Select Harold Ford Jr. to be your VP nominee/runningmate.

 

WHAT WILL THIS DO?

 

1)  You will not be deserting the Dem party, THEY deserted you!  Especially the Soros socialists who forced you to change your core beliefs and your position on various issues.  By declaring as an Independent, you can return to who you REALLY ARE and you can campaign from the Center.  Strong on National Defense, strong on Military, strong on the 2nd Amendment and then, as well, move left on Social issues (but don't court the Soros socialists by going waaaayyyyyyy left to the point of silly as they are).  Remember, THEY attacked Liberman and pushed him out of the "party of inclusion" and then threatened YOU if you did not "toe the line" concerning their radicl left socialist ideology. 

 

2)  Name Harold Ford Jr. as your running mate.  This act will accomplish placing Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi in reach for you to win in the General Election.  As well, everyone (even Repubs) acknowledge that Ford Jr. is a very qualified person and he has great approval ratings and he will be a great help in competing for the black vote.  If you return to your "true" beliefs which are to the center of the political  world, Georgia will easily be in play for you.  That will give you a HUGE leg up to win 4 Southern States!  Considering that Louisiana usually goes Democrat and that they like you, your now looking at 5 States you can reasonably expect to win.  Florida is yours for the taking (in a three way race with Obama and McCain) that's ALMOST A GIVEN!  Now, we move to Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan and New York.  There is NO reason you can't take these States as an Independent, simply because you can tailor your message to the needs of these States because you DO NOT HAVE TO PANDER to the far left or the far right!  You can ADRESS THE ISSUES and propose REAL resolutions to solve these issues.  REMEMBER, when you went into the Senate, you worked HARD to be bi-partasin and reach across the aisle and work with all the Senate to GET THINGS DONE!  Because of the Soros socialists, you haven't even been able to talk about your accomplishments in this area and this has hurt you quite a lot!  My God, does ANYONE believ that Obama (THE MOST LIBERAL SENATOR in Washington) is going to be able to reach across the Congressional ailes to ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING?  NO!  NO! NO!

 

3)  Look now at California, quite easily this State will be wide open for you to win in the General Election.  The Hollywood liberals will be split between you and Obama but you come out way ahead with the Hispanic vote and with Ford Jr. on the ticket you can reasonably expect to draw 20 to 25 percent of the Black vote.  With your return to the "center" you will draw strong from the moderates (Regan Democrats) and Independents.

 

4) QUICK REVIEW:  You can fully expect to have the following States in your WIN collumn.  California, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Tennessee, Alabama, Missippi, Georgia, Louisiana and Florida.  These States will give you ONE HECK OF A JUMP on winning the Presidency!

 

5)  Missouri should be within your grasp as long as you stay on message.  Arkansas should be in your grasp as well.  West Virginia, South Carolina and Kentucky are there for you to win if you are SMART and keep your message directed on your strong points.  National Defense and the Economy!  South Dakota, Oregon, Nevada, New Mexico are there for you to win as well.  This could give you a REAL OPPORTUNITY TO WIN 20 States with little competition!

 

6)  Important concerns:  You will HAVE TO reconstruct your campaign team.  YOU WILL HAVE to get some Moderate Democrats/Independents and some Moderate Republicans on your team to work to PROVE that you are COMMITTED TO UNITING THE NATION and working in a bi-partisian way in Washington.

    a)  National Defense:  return to your roots and give a speech on keeping the Military strong and working hard to fight terrorism world wide.  Don't pander to "code pink" they can't elect you!

    b)  Iraq War:  Be sure to address the Iraq war and finding a resolution to it BUT STRESS that you will NOT TAKE ANY ACTION that will place our soldiers in unnecessary danger by leaving them open to attack because their numbers are being drawn down at such a rate that they can't properly defend themselves.  As well STRESS that you won't take any irresponsible action that will result in the death of millions of Iraqi citizens due to Suni/Shei civil war by pulling out before there is a REAL POSSIBILITY that they can defend themselves from the RADICAL elements that are trying to destabilize Iraq and prevent a Democracy from evolving there.

    c)  Second Amendment:  Stay strong on your support of the Second Amendment and still state that there are areas where we as a Nation can improve on the limitation certain weapons.  BE THE FIRST POLITICIAN to UNDERSTAND and STATE that the Second Amendment was included in the Constitution NOT to ensure that citizens could own guns for the purpose of "hunting" but TO ENSURE THAT THEY COULD PROTECT THEMSELVES FROM THE GOVERNMENT should this become necessary.  REMEMBER, when they wrote the Constitution, ONLY the King's Armies were supose to have guns and they wanted to take away the guns from the Colonialists.  The Founding Fathers knew that IF ONLY THE GOVERNMENT had guns, NO REAL DEMOCRACY COULD EXIST for very long!  Be the first to know and state what every "regular" American knows and believes!

    d)  Abortion:  It's ok to continue to support a woman's right to choose.  However, you should acknowledge that Partial-Birth Abortion is WRONG and DO NOT SUPPORT IT!  As well, you should be brave enough to State that the practice of abortion in our Nation has gotton way out of hand.  Over 50 million abortions since Roe v. Wade!  This is far too many.  You won't be alone in this.  During the Alito confirmation hearings both Biden and Kennedy said as much and there is video/audio comments of them saying so.  State that we need to work to decrease the number of abortions in this Nation and that you support the stance of "Rape, Incest or the Life of the Mother" but that you do not support abortion as being used for "OOPS BIRTH CONTROL".  When you are challenged on this, respond with a simple question.  Ask your attacker to answer the following:  If a 15 or 16 year old girl in Seattle has a sexual encounter with an older man, is it not reasonable that the older man will be criminally prosecuted?  As the Law sates that the 15 or 16 year old girl IS NOT emotionally mature enough to CONSENT to the sexual encounter, the older man MUST be prosecuted.  This being TRUE, how then, is it POSSIBLE THAT THE VERY SAME 15 or 16 year old girl IS EMOTIONALLY MATURE enough to decide to have an abortion should that encounter result in her becoming pregnant?  How is it possible that she can be emotionally mature enough to make this serious decision without EVEN HAVING TO CONSULT with her parents?  You will find them left mouths agape, for there is no REASONABLE RESPONSE they can make.  Yes, you will lose some of the voters from the far left, but you have already realized that they are going to go for Obama anyway, so concentrate on the huge number of voters you will gain from the Moderate block of voters (both Dem and Repub) and from Independents.  Their numbers will far outweigh the loss from the far left who were going to vote for Obama anyway.

    e) The Economy:  Stay strong on your message for the economy.  You are already far ahead of either Obama or McCain in this area and you only have to tweek your message/proposals a little more to the center to sweep the voters who are MOST concerned about the economy issue when voting.

 

REVIEW:  If you truly want to be the next President, if you truly believe that you are the best canidate to address and solve the problems facing our Nation and if you truly believe that neither Obama or McCain can unite our Nation and unite the Congress and return bi-partisanship to Washington, well, I have given you the WINNING FORMULA for doing so.  One IMPORTANT note.  Stop trying to be WHO YOU ARE NOT!  No more bowling, no more "shots" with the guys, NO MORE STUPID PHOTO OPS to try and prove that your are just a "regular" girl!  WE, THE PEOPLE, DON'T WANT A REGULAR GUY/GIRL for our president, WE WANT SOMEONE WHO TRULY BELIEVES THAT THE PROBLEMS FACING OUR NATION ARE SERIOUS AND THAT THEY NEED TO BE RESOLVED IN A BI-PARTISAN WAY AND WE WANT A PRESIDENT WHO TAKES SERIOUS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF BEING PRESIDENT and doesn't look for some reason to do some SILLY PHOTO OP!  No dancing, no fly fishing, PLEASE NO DOVE HUNTING,  BE PRESIDENTIAL!  FORGET MTV, LETTERMAN, LENO, AND THOSE OTHER IDIOTS.  Tell the American people:  "Look, the job of being President of the United States is a serious matter and anyone who wishes to hold this Office should act with a certain decorum and treat the job with the Respect it DEMANDS AND DESERVES."  You do this and you will be head and shoulders above Obama and McCain.

 

Take this for what it's worth, but if you really want to be the next President of the United States, YOU HAVE YOUR ROAD MAP TO 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
